To Whom It May Concern:

I began my working relationship with Playscape Designs of Tulsa, Oklahoma in early 2001 during the planning of the playgrounds for two new elementary schools. Having heard so much about the unique playground equipment manufactured by KOMPAN of Olympia, Washington, I searched for the closet vendor. After a series of telephone conversations and e-maul messages, I was invited by Playscape Designs to visit the Tulsa area and see first hand the various age-appropriate products from KOMPAN including the new “Galaxy” line as well as to observe children at play on the equipment.

The representatives of Playscape Designs during this initial visit greatly impressed me as to their knowledge of child development and being able to provide the complete package of services to make our playgrounds a success. In-house staff dedicated to site design & logistics, an experienced installation crew, and support by a variety of manufacturers were just some of the reasons I decided to work with this professional organization. Their understanding and passion for providing meaningful play opportunities for ALL children regardless of their abilities or disabilities instead of just selling “steel and plastic on soft stuff” is another major reason for working with Playscape Design.

Playscape Design has proven to be an excellent service provider for years after the sale. Their customer service and follow up on product warranty issues has been outstanding. They are always “just a phone call away” and are always willing to make the five hour trip to Lee's Summit during all phases of a playground project. Their proactive attitude helps to eliminate potential problems before they arise. On the other hand, they quickly respond to effectively resolve problems that do develop. I appreciate their clam and professional demeanor during any “perceived crisis” other administrators or I have put them through during our five year association.

The creation of the Terra-Pad product by Playscape Designs is a testimonial to their commitment to playground safety and excellence. This product line is now a part of our District's Standard Facilities Guidelines of Playgrounds. Successfully working with the President and staff on Playscape Designs over the past five years has resulted in 12 of our 16 elementary schools having playground projects awarded to this fine company and the manufacturers they represent including KOMPAN and Big Toy.

I personally would recommend the services of Playscape Designs of Tulsa, Oklahoma to any school district or public entity.

Sincerely,
